Jesse Romero, CPA, MBA

Jesse Romero CPAJesse has more than fifteen years of accounting and finance experience.  He started preparing tax returns for his family and friends and later decided to pursue the profession by starting his own tax practice.  He has also worked in a variety of industries including advertising, Internet marketing, media, telecom, and technology. 

Jesse previously served as a Senior Consultant with Solomon Edwards Group, was a CFO for an Internet start-up and held various financial analyst and accounting positions with Belo Corporation, Temerlin McClain, and Excel Telecom. 

Jesse received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.  He became a CPA in 2004 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In his spare time, Jesse enjoys playing soccer, golf and spending time with his family and friends.

tracy owens cpaTracy Owens, CPA, MBA

Tracy grew up in Dallas, Texas and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and her Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a part-time Instructor for Texas Tech University.

With 25 years of industry experience, Tracy has held CFO positions for privately held companies in the Healthcare industry and has held Controller positions in several International public corporations.  She has extensive experience with Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Process Improvement. Tracy held a Global Controller role for Nokia, and was responsible for the accounting and finance policies and procedures all over the world in the area of Nokia’s real estate and facilities operations.   While there, she enjoyed traveling the world and working with her colleagues in Finland, England, China, and South America. Tracy was the only American-based member of a joint venture team that met weekly in Europe to develop a new organization between Nokia and Siemens, later to become Nokia Siemens Networks. She has consulted for large companies around Dallas including Match.com, 7-Eleven, and DynCorp.

On a personal note, Tracy enjoys skiing, and attending sporting events with her children.  Her volunteer work includes Financial Advisor for her sorority, Children’s Choir Director, and holding various Board positions on PTAs and Booster Clubs. She is a member of National Association of Professional Women and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
